Adding a Teaching Assistant or Grader to a Course

 Follow the instructions below to add your grader to your course in Blackboard.
 
  1. Navigate to the course in Blackboard
  2. Scroll down to Course Management > Users & Groups, Select USERS
  3. Select the FIND USERS TO ENROLL button on the top bar of the interface, this will open to a new window
  4. Add the Grader UA USERNAME in the box
  5. Change the ROLE to TA (teaching assistant)
  6. SUBMIT
This gives the grader or teaching assistant the ability to access the grade center and add grades etc, but limits access to deleting or other higher level edit actions in the course shell.
