Setting Up Teleconference Options in Blackboard Collaborate

Blackboard Collaborate has a teleconference option with a long distance phone number through the system as a default. If you would like to enter your department Audio Conference number for student use follow these instructions.

  • In the Blackboard Collaborate Scheduling Manager > Select: Select Defaults
  • In the new window > Select: Teleconference Options

  • Have the following Department Audio Conference information available:

    1. Audio Conference Call In Number
    2. Presenter Pin Number
    3. Participant Pin Number
  • Select USE THIRD PARTY
    • Choose USE PHONE
    • Enter the following in each row exactly like the example
    • Moderator Phone: (UA Department Audio Conference Phone Number): 1-XXX-XXX-XXXX
    • Moderator PIN: (Presenter Pin Number)
    • Participant Phone: (UA Department Audio Conference Phone Number, repeated): 1-XXX-XXX-XXXX
    • Participant PIN (Participant Pin Number): 8888888
    • Participant Phone: (UA Department Audio Conference Phone Number, repeated): 1-XXX-XXX-XXXX
    • Session Pin (Four Comma's and Presenter Pin from above): ,,,,8888888
